I'm Andreea Pălimariu. I could simply call myself a real estate agent, but my passion for this field makes me a different kind of agent. How so? I get deeply involved in every step, from the initial listing to the completion of the transaction.

I love working with people, constantly meeting new characters, faces, and stories. I find it fascinating because with every property comes its own story: the seller has a narrative, and the buyer has a motivation—a dream they're trying to achieve.

There have been times when I asked myself whether what I do has value or if people could manage on their own, and I was just getting in the way. Over time, I've learned that I play a crucial role in every transaction. How?

For instance, landlords who rent out their properties want good, honest, and tidy tenants. Through my 12 years of experience, I've developed the ability to understand people's psychology, which helps me select the right tenants. So much so that, after the tenants leave, landlords often tell me, "Please find me tenants as good as the last ones—they were great and trustworthy."

In addition, I've created a solid contract that ensures both parties have fair and balanced terms.

There have been cases where both parties were skeptical at first, but after signing the contract, their collaboration turned out to be smooth and pleasant.

For every listing, visibility in the market and catching attention requires energy, time, promotional costs, and, most importantly, proper marketing. High-quality photos, videos, and detailed descriptions are essential to spark interest.

When it comes to sales, the bureaucracy and sales processes can be overwhelming for both the seller and the buyer. This is where my experience comes in handy—whether it's collaborating with the bank, working with the notary, or helping obtain additional documents such as the association certificate, energy performance certificate, cadastral plan, etc.

There are property owners who need a reliable real estate agent, and I'm the perfect fit because I am a fair and honest person, both professionally and personally.

Many of my clients rely on my services because they are out of the country, live in another city, or simply don't have the time to handle the process themselves. These are the people who value my work and reward it with genuine appreciation.

I work as an intermediary, which means I usually charge a commission from both parties because my involvement benefits both sides. From the outside, it may not seem like much, but I guarantee that the effort is there.

I could say that I stand out in the real estate market through how I present properties—with professional photos and video tours. I notify property owners when I schedule a viewing for properties where I hold the keys, ensuring they stay informed. I use disposable shoe covers during visits (and provide them to viewers), a laser distance measurer, additional lighting for dimly lit spaces, and even a drone to make video presentations look like professional films.

To ensure transparency during purchases, I also provide access to a professional engineer for a technical evaluation of the property.

I've been practicing this profession for 12 years, and in every transaction—whether it's a rental or a sale—I apply everything I've learned during this time.

If I could, I'd recommend that everyone work only with experienced agents. Experience has immense value, and this often becomes clear when dealing with inexperienced agents who fumble their way through transactions.

Commissions

  • Rentals: 50% commission from each party.
Sales:

2% commission from the seller and 1.5% from the buyer.

For some properties where I collaborate with developers, the commission is 0.

In many cases, the commission is also 0 for land sales.


About the Company

Mareea Properties Investments SRL is a part of me and my soul. After nine years at Galaxy Imob, I decided to take full control of my finances, time, and expertise.

Soon, I'll be celebrating four years since I chose to forge my own path, establish my own agency, and become an independent entrepreneur—with all the risks and rewards that come with it. It was an excellent decision because my clients now know me as an individual, not just as an agent from a larger agency.

Working with an unknown or unrecommended agent is like playing roulette because, currently, legislation allows for a lack of professionalism in the field, which ultimately harms the client. This is why I recommend working with an independent agent who has a registered company. Such agents are directly invested in presenting themselves professionally and building their reputation. In large agencies, this level of dedication is rare, as many agents there are temporary or transient.
